Lisa Golze (*1979, Bochum) beschäftigt sich seit ihrem Literaturwissenschaftsstudium intensiv mit der Beschaffenheit von Text (lat. textura = Gewebe) und der Entstehung von Bedeutung. Davon ausgehend, dass der Text aus Widersprüchen und Brüchen besteht und sich permanent selbst hinterfragt, regen ihre Arbeiten zu Umbrüchen im Denken an. Ein Zeilenumbruch, das bewusste Setzen, aber auch das Aus- und Versetzen eines noch so kleinen Zeichens – alles kann neue Bedeutungsebenen eröffnen. Dabei lässt die Schriftstellerin und Künstlerin das Wort selbst zu Wort kommen, durch das Tippen auf der Schreibmaschine fließt die Schlagkraft der Worte spürbar in ihr Werk mit ein. Im ersten Lockdown 2020 hatte sie die Idee, ihre konkrete und visuelle Poesie auf Instagram unter dem Namen newgoldblatt zu veröffentlichen. Darauf folgten Einladungen zu verschiedenen Ausstellungen, u.a. in Hamburg und London. 2024 wurden Lisa Golzes Arbeiten erstmals im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts 'Poetry in the Digital Age' an der Universität Hamburg besprochen.
Für die AFFENFAUST hat die Künstlerin sich eine Darstellungsform überlegt, die das Spannungsfeld zwischen ihrer analogen Kunstform und der Präsentation im digitalen Raum aufgreift. Ihre INSTA-llation bestehend aus einer Kleinstauflage großformatiger Drucke wird neben weiteren Originalen bei der KNOTENPUNKT zu sehen sein.
Lisa Golze (*1979, Bochum) has been working intensively on the nature of text (lat. textura = fabric) and the creation of meaning since studying literature. Based on the assumption that the text consists of contradictions and breaks and constantly questions itself, her work encourages changes in thinking. A line break, the deliberate placement, but also the removal and displacement of even the smallest sign - everything can open up new levels of meaning. The writer and artist lets the word itself have its say; by typing on a typewriter, the impact of the words flows tangibly into her work. During the first lockdown in 2020, she had the idea of publishing her concrete and visual poetry on Instagram under the name newgoldblatt. This was followed by invitations to various exhibitions, including in Hamburg and London. In 2024, Lisa Golze's work was discussed for the first time as part of the research project 'Poetry in the Digital Age' at the University of Hamburg.
For AFFENFAUST, the artist has come up with a form of presentation that addresses the tension between her analog art form and its presentation in digital space. Her INSTA-llation, consisting of a small edition of large-format prints, will be on display at KNOTENPUNKT alongside other originals.
